When Inside Breathes Better

The EPA tells us that we spend 90% of our time inside.  With recent studies finding indoor air to be 10 times more polluted than that of the great open air, design and material choices are more important than ever.

LEED is a rating system created by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).  This approach is the holistic “gold standard” in sustainable building, and includes professionals such as architects, builders, engineers, developers, and interior designers.  LEED can help save long term costs and preserve resources, making home and work much healthier places to breathe.

"Jennifer Butler did an exceptional job on a recent project.  Jennifer is an energetic, highly motivated, reliable, and deadline-oriented designer.  She understands complex matters even when outside of her direct area of expertise.  Jennifer Butler is probably one of the top interior designers I have ever met."

Commercial LEED

Without saying a word, your commercial interior reveals what your company cares about.   Whether LEED reflects your core brand philosophy, or your goal is to redesign your workplace using less toxic materials, Jennifer Butler Interior Design will help make that happen.  For larger projects, Jennifer becomes a member of your LEED AP team and will design an exceptional indoor environment.

Residential LEED

LEED homes have many health benefits and long-term savings and efficiencies.  If you are ready to build a new LEED home, or if you wish to retrofit your home according to LEED standards, Jennifer Butler Interior Designs can either build a team for you, or join your existing team.  If you are interested in taking steps toward a healthier home without the commitment of a full LEED project, Jennifer can incorporate key LEED principles into your residence.  Choosing the right finishes, materials, paints, and light sources can help make your home a healthier, happier sanctuary.
