Since its 2003 inception, Jennifer Butler Interior Design has collaborated with many of the Grand Rapids area’s leading architects and has compiled a distinguished and diverse portfolio of projects — ranging from smaller-scale remodels of privately owned residences, to multi-million dollar new construction custom homes, to day spas, churches and offices.
Whether commercial or residential, every project is unique in its features and details, but it is a singular approach that fosters each success. At Jennifer Butler Interior Design, the focus is not upon any one architectural period or style, rather, the project process begins with in-depth dialogue centered on the clients’ visions, aspirations and lifestyle. The resulting designs not only truly reflect the clients’ tastes and personalities, but also genuinely accommodate the activities for which they were created.
“We believe that good interior design reflects art or an art form, creates harmony and balance in a space, promotes longevity and reflects the people using the space.”
Jennifer has more than a decade of experience in interior design. Originally from the Boyne City area of Northern Michigan, she relocated to Grand Rapids in 1987. She received her BFA from Kendall College of Art and Design in 1993, and also has a BA from Grand Valley State University, where she studied business. Currently, she resides in Grand Rapids’ historic Heritage Hill neighborhood.
